Michael Henderson is taken on another tour round Will Fountain's farm on the borders of Hertfordshire. The hay has been mown and only the last few acres remain to be gathered and baled. It is hoped that a start will be made on harvesting the corn, when we shall be able to see how modern farm machinery has assisted the farmer in these and other vital farm activities.
Nowadays even the local blacksmith is equipped with a mobile forge and it is seen at work in the stable yard.
