A Ballet for Television.
This ballet tells the story of Pierre and Madelon-true lovers parted in the traditional fairy-tale manner by their heartless parents. Like all the best fairy-tales this one. of course, has a happy ending, though the means by which it comes about are perhaps a trifle unusual.
