A display of duplicates of the famous collection in the Tower of London.
With an historical commentary by Kenneth L. Davy.
A point of topical interest in this broadcast is that viewers will see a replica of the crown to be worn by King Edward at the Coronation ceremony next year. This is King Edward the Confessor's crown. The King has two other crowns - the Imperial State Crown and the Imperial Crown of India. Other pieces of the regalia, the Queen's diadems, the sceptres, orbs, swords, bracelets, spurs, etc., are just as magnificent.
