Ray Manzarek revisits the summer of 1967 - the so-called Summer of Love
- when the Doors rewrote the rules of AM radio with their sexy, seismic US hit Light My Fire. Manzarek recalls the inspiration for the song's bass line - Fats Domino's Blueberry Hill (1956) - and offers a selection of tracks that influenced the band's distinctive sound. Artists include
