Doon MacKichan , Ewen Macintosh , and Mike McShane. Edwards and James Eldred co-wrote the pilot comedy, which pokes at the contradictions between the off-camera ego-fuelled nastiness and the slimy cheeriness of the on-screen kitsch merchants.

Not quite yet a household name, the 18-year-old singer/songwriter performs songs from his debut album in an intimate gig recorded on 11 May exclusively for Radio 2. Still a student, the New York-born Canadian resident has honed his guitar and songwriting skills while attending an international boarding school. The result can be heard this evening in what for many will be an introduction to his sound.
