To coincide with the release of her first album since 1993, Mark Radcliffe interviews elusive and experimental singer/ songwriter Kate Bush , who first possessed the airwaves in February 1978 with the delirious melodrama Wuthering Heights.
By turns sensual, tribal, precious, theatrical and eccentric, the cult siren has created an unmistakeable repertoire exemplified by The Man with the Child in His Eyes, Wow, Breathing, Babooshka,
Army Dreamers, The Dreaming, Cloudbusting, Hounds of Love and Running Up That Hill, which in 1985 marked her turnaround with previously sceptical critics. Bush's adventurous videos remain vivid if at times ridiculed artefacts from the early days of promo. Producer Paul Rodgers
