The Blagger's Guide
3/6. Rock and pop observer David Ouantick presents comically constructed nuggets of information about popular music, employing fake archive footage, adverts and recordings. This week he provides less than you need to know about Essex, heavy metal, grunge, the 303 synthesiser and Van Morrison.

Johnnie Walker recalls the period when Seattle-born psychedelic-blues guitarist Jimi Hendrix lived in London, where he transformed from a shy, penniless musician into a dynamic and starry force. With contributions from Eric Clapton, Robert Wyatt, Glenn Tilbrook, Pete Townshend, Eric Bibb and Gered Mankowitz, plus archive input from former Animals bass player Chas Chandler, who is credited with discovering Hendrix.
