Stuart Maconie hosts a live studio-based round-table discussion about the state of British music, with questions and comments from listeners, pundits and artists. Featuring specially recorded sessions from the biggest names in British music, as well as specially produced features and documentaries.
Listeners are also in control of the music featured on the programme and are invited to text-vote for songs they want to hear (the number will be given out on air). The evening kicks off with Paul Gambaccini presenting his personal review of the past 12 months in British music, and at 7.40 Zoe Ball follows the launch of new British singer/songwriter Lucie Silvas as she embarks on a career in the music business.
