Daniel O'Donnell, from Kincasslagh in County Donegal, has established himself as Ireland's most popular country-and-lrish singer, with sales in excess of two million records and half-a-million videos over ten years. Religion plays a significant part in the life of the 35-year-old bachelor boy, and he feels a strong devotion to his legion of fans. On this the eve of St Patrick's Day, Paul Williams meets O'Donnell in his studio in the Dublin mountains to discuss his career and music.
