Victor Herbert and Hamilton Harty were all born in Ireland. On the eve of the most important date in the Irish calendar, Barry Wordsworth conducts the BBC Concert
Orchestra, led by Martin Loveday , in a concert of some of their music. Also on the programme, Arnold Bax and Peter Hope - two composers strongly influenced by Celtic myth and legend - and Irish music that's a touch more traditional from special guest Finbar Furey.
