Gwen, surrounded by children, has been spending a week's holiday with the Owens in Wales. Mrs. Freeman has expressed, yet again, her strong opposition to Jenny's working during the twins' holiday. Mrs. Harvey is anxiously awaiting the results of some tests carried out by a specialist Dr. Dale persuaded her to see. The Rockshaws have decided to take the flat offered to them by the Council. The extra rent will come from Young Danny's Increased pay-packet. Barrie and Daffy have returned from Corfu with Daffy fearing she is pregnant.
