'I find it rather reassuring that the music industry is unchanging - I have had less catching up to do than I expected. Musically though, the charts are even more varied than before, but unfortunately tastes are more polarised. Heavy metal fans have no time for reggae: rockabilly followers are intolerant of electronic disco music. I prefer an integrated music scene and I like to keep my show non-specialised - then everyone's happy.'
