A blackly humorous and moving drama, based on the autobiographical writings of Thomas Lynch , undertaker and award-winning poet. When his father dies on holiday, Tom gathers his travelling kit of embalming supplies and catches the next plane to Florida. Journalist John Collis lives in the same south London road where Britain's most prolific writer - Edgar Wallace - once lived. Wallace's life was extraordinarily varied and colourful; at the height of his popularity in the 1920s he was responsible for a quarter of all books sold in Britain.
