in 1943 scientist Albert Hoffmann took a dose of D-lysergic acid diethylamide, a substance that he'd first synthesised five years earlier. This was the first LSD "trip". The drug was to change everything from music to social mores when its use became widespread in the 1960s. Presented by Nigel Wrench, with contributions from those who were at the heart of the LSD explosion in Britain, including Dr Susan Blackmore and Hawkwind's Dave Brock. Also featuring a rare recording of Pink Floyd live at UFO.

Looking for somewhere affordable to live in London, Toby Jones finds himself holed up in a damp room in Kensal Rise, near Notting Hill. Plagued by the nagging thought that he should give up house-hunting, contrive his own disappearance and seek adventure elsewhere, he is invited to audition for the film Notting Hill. Performed by Toby Jones himself, this is a comic tale based on the true story of how he met Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts , ended up on the cutting-room floor and began to feel that he was being deleted from his own life.
