The House on the Rock. Every year hundreds of millions of people around the world lose their homes in extreme natural events such as storms, earthquakes and floods. Bangladesh is one of the worst affected countries and regular cyclones are having a devastating impact on poor rural communities. Quentin Cooper reports from northern Bangladesh where an effort to build hazard-resistant homes is offering simple, practical protection for vulnerable communities.
