The concluding drama in the Peacemakers series is based on the siege in 1996, in which the Peruvian revolutionary group Tupac Amaru took hostage all of the guests attending a party at the Japanese Embassy in Lima. It is the story of hostage Father Juan Julio Wicht, priest and economist, who, when given the opportunity to leave, chose to remain with the other hostages.
