By Bernard Walke , adapted for radio by Melville Jones. As part of BBC
Radio's 75th anniversary celebrations, parishioners of the Church of St Hilary near St Michael's Mount in Cornwall re-create the mystery play written especially for them by their priest. One of the first outside broadcast dramas, it so delighted listeners in the 1920s that it became part of the nation's Christmas for almost a decade.
