In August 19 years ago, the 60s were still swinging in Britain, and in Czechoslovakia Dubcek was talking of 'Socialism with a human face'. The students in Bratislava gave a rapturous welcome to an unknown rock band from England in the charge of Roy Guest. Roy woke up one morning to see Russian tanks in the streets. All the radio stations were off the air. But he took photographs, and the Austrian border and the world's Press were only a hazardous car ride away past Russian guards....
