A programme about seven people who believe they are jinxed. With comments from Morris Nitsun, psychologist and Mike Haslam, statistician. 'Psychologically, the jinx can be seen as a way of giving meaning to a series of events which otherwise seem utterly incomprehensible.'
If we think of events as being unrelated. there is no reason to think that anyone should carry on being jinxed. It's like tossing our famous statistician's friend, the coin. The coin has no memory of whether It came down heads or tails on the previous occasion.'
