At the small country town of Vergina in Salonica, the discovery of a Macedonian tomb of the Fourth Century B.C. has posed a mystery for archaeologists. Is Vergina the lost burial place of the Macedonian kings? Is this tomb, complete with its rich treasure of royal grave goods, the resting place of Alexander the Great's father, King Philip II who was murdered in 336 B.C.? Professor Richard Tomlinson and Malcolm Billings visit the tomb, examine the evidence, and discuss the implications with Professor Manolis Andronicos of Salonika, who made this important discovery.
