Peter Ustinov reads extracts from his best-selling autobiography, abridged in nine parts by JACK SINGLETON
5: 'The filmed surrender of Field-Marshal Milch was slap-stick worthy of Laurel and Hardy. He saluted by bringing his baton up to his cap and formally handed it over. The British general took the baton, weighed it for a moment, then smacked it down hard on the Field-Marshal's head, sending him down for the count.' Producer ROSEMARY HART

The Holy Experiment by WILLIAM FOX with Richard Pasco as William Penn - founder of Pennsylvania in 1681. He was a Quaker but also a courtier and his determination for a better deal for members of his sect secured a grant of land in the New World from Charles II. He remains one of the greatest figures of American history: his treaty with the Indians, the most successful treatment of aborigines that history records, lasted for 70 years, and his Frame of Government for Pennsylvania became the basis for the Constitution of the United States.
