The story of Mark Sheridan
At the beginning of the century, Mark Sheridan delighted Music-Hall audiences with songs like' I Do Like to Be Beside the Seaside ' and ' Here We Are Again '. But though the songs live on, their singer rapidly became a forgotten man after his mysterious death at the height of his fame.
Brian Haines re-assesses Mark Sheridan 's contribution to British Music-Hall with the help Of WEE GEORGIE WOOD , Sheridan's son and many rare early recordings.
