Peter Shore, MP, Minister without Portfolio in the last Labour Cabinet, believes. that to hand over to untried and alien institutions the right to determine the future of Britain and its people's well-being would be 'an absurdity, a tragedy, a betrayal.'
Norman St. John-Stevas, MP, favours entry into the Common Market. He believes that the root from which the greatness of Britain sprang is a European one. He sees in the future a United States of Europe with Great Britain as an integral part.
In tonight's Analysis they develop their arguments under the chairmanship of Ian McIntyre.
