With the Italians now coached by former star scrum-half Pierre Berbizier, defeat at the Stade de France (kick-off 2.00) would be doubly humiliating for Les Bleus. Italy have only ever beaten their illustrious neighbours once in Test matches, in 1997, and never in the Six Nations. But France's shock opening-match defeat by Scotland and inconsistent play against Ireland give Italy a modicum of hope. Andrew Cotter and Phillip Matthews commentate. Scotland v England is at 5.10pm.

Medical Drama: Casualty 8.25pm BBC1
All those months when the manipulative Ellen was trying to get the gullible Abs to marry her, it turns out she would have had a quicker result if she had just turned her attentions to Harry Harper. The honourable doctor has decided to do the right thing by her now she's pregnant with his baby. But she has a most surprising reaction to his proposal.
Meanwhile, the hospital's hepatitis B clinic is opened, but the first patients - a pair of prostitutes - cause Maggie to pass an opinion she regrets. Also passing judgement a little bit too quickly is the mother of a recovering drug addict who's been shot. But then, this parent also happens to be a judge. (Jane Rackham)
