In 1952, 19-year-old
Patricia Curran was found stabbed to death in the grounds of her family home in White Abbey near Belfast.
Although RAF serviceman lain Hay Gordon was convicted on the strength of an uncorroborated confession, recently-disclosed files show the police failed to pursue some of their strongest evidence, which would have led them to the Curran family's Unionist and legal connections. Presented by Dennis Tuohy. See today's choices.
