Britain's doctors are nearly three times more likely to commit suicide than the average citizen
They risk alcohol dependency and drug-addiction. Yet, until recently the medical profession has shrouded the problem in a ' conspiracy of silence'. As the Chief Officer of the BMA, Dr Brian Lewis says, ' I don't think any profession wants to talk about its black sheep.'
Now they reveal to PETER WILLIAMS the hidden risks of becoming a doctor and what is being done to try to lessen the danger.
