Recent research has cast doubt on many accepted ideas of Bach chronology. Alfred Diirr is one of the leading Bach scholars and in this talk he explains the factors that have led him to revise the chronology of the cantatas. He discusses the way in which this revised chronology casts new light on the traditional picture of the composer. followed by an interlude at 10M
