Wawrzyniec Zulawski, the Polish composer, critic, and mountaineer, died last year in an accident on Mont Blanc at the age of forty-one. His small output consists mainly of chamber music; the Piano Quintet was introduced to this country in 1946 at a concert in London.
Egon Wellesz , who has recently deciphered the music, talks about this famous Byzantine hymn, which dates back to the sixth century and is probably by Romanos Peter Pears tlng-9 part of the hymn

The classical theory of Establishment was set forth by Hooker and other theologians in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Professor Sykes surveys these and later/forms in which the theory of Establishment has been expounded in England. He then considers the changes made in the present century and the suggestions for further change being debated now.

The Fossilised Fuel Industries by Dr. Georg Tugendhat industrialist and writer on energy policy
Dr. Tugendhat argues that the natural growth of the fuel industries has been frustrated by the rigid pattern imposed by the Nationalisation Acts. He suggests the present business objectives of the nationalised industries should be revised. (The recorded broadcast of March 17)
