He considers what these results portend for the future of partnership between white and black.

' Whoever heard of a war without concerts! ' This radio comedy tells the story of the struggles of an Anglo-French committee in their continually frustrated efforts to organise a grand concert in honour of a visiting French Minister in 1944. The scene is a great city in the Midlands.
