A conversation between DR. YIGAEL YADIN, Director of the James A. de Rothschild expedition at Hazor in northern Palestine, and D. J. WISEMAN of the Department of Western Asiatic Antiquities, British Museum.
According to the Bible, Joshua 'turned back,' and took Hazor.' Later King Solomon rebuilt ' Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.' D.J. Wiseman asks Dr. Yadin about the results of his 1957 season at Hazor and discusses with him his use of the Bible as corroborative evidence.
An exhibition called 'Hazor in Galilee,' showing some of the finds from the first three seasons of the excavations, is at present on view in London at the British Museum.
