The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors has arranged an exhibition called ' Five Centuries of Maps and Map-making ' which is open at 12 Great George Street, S.W.I, from June 9 until July 4. Eva Taylor. Emeritus Professor of Geography in the University of London, speaks mainly about the personalities and methods of the surveyors and the beauty and precision of the early estate plans.
