On Friday evening another performance of Euripides' play Iphigeneia in Tauris is to be broadcast, in the new version by Philip Vellacott. In this introductory talk Professor H. J. Rose , author of many studies of classical religion and mythology, examines the significance of the cult of the goddess Artemis, an important element in he play.
