Lady Horner, O.B.E. speaking from Mells Manor House,
Somerset
There have been Horners at Mells for four hundred years, and in 1641 Charles I held his court at the Manor House, from which Lady Horner will broadcast her talk. In recent years Lady Horner has entertained at Mells some of the most distinguished politicians and artists of our time, and it is probable that she will have something to say about these visitors tonight.
The talk is to be preceded by a short description of the Manor House and its surroundings.
