The Bristol Musical Society was founded in 1934. Originally the membership was a small one, but now the society can boast of more than a hundred members.
The soloist whom listeners will hear this evening, Mabel Sully , lives in Bridgwater. She came from Plymouth, where she had much experience in pianoforte concerto and solo pianoforte work.
