' Build or Rebuild ? '
Few people are extreme enough to believe either in the wholesale demolition of old buildings, or in their sentimental preservation for living purposes when they are too decrepit to be really habitable. But there are many intermediate views-that of the architect, the builder, the romantic and the mere householder-some of which will be aired when the West Country Amenities Council meets tonight to decide whether it shall devote its funds to aid the erection of new buildings or the preservation of ancient ones.
