As in previous editions of this programme Henry Williamson will give a talk, this time about the barn owl; a consumer will question her butcher and A. W. Ling about the price of beef; and there will be another selection of verses and stories about the Western countryside.

Many are the rules and regulations of our modem society. Many are the forms we fill in, and the levies made upon us in rates and taxes and other payments towards the upkeep of the State seem endless. This eveping the Britisher's causes for time-honoured grumbling will be fully considered, hut not necessarily agreed upon, by a distinguished railway official, a university lecturer in economics, and a woman speaker well versed in public affairs.
