A series of interviews designed by Froom Tyler with West Country worthies of the past

William Prynne, the Puritan pamphleteer, was born at Swainswick, Bath, in the year 1600, and became Member of Parliament for Bath. Prynne held very definite opinions on many topics of the day and lost both his ears as well as £5,000 for some of his writings that displeased the Star Chamber. The opinions expressed in this interview are drawn from the writings of William Prynne.
