from the Pier Pavilion, Aberystwyth Evered Davies formed his band in 1920, and for eleven seasons in succession it has played at Aberystwyth. During the winter months the band is kept busy with local functions. including those held by the University of Wales. The last time they broadcast during term, the students at Aberystwyth, not to be done out of their dancing, fixed up a special set and amplifier, tuned in, and got their Saturday-night dance as usual.
