Interlude
2.5 Junior Geography
' The British Isles'
E. R. CROWE , B.Sc., Lecturer in Geography in the University of Glasgow
With this talk we come to the second stage of the three-year rota covering the Empire, Great Britain, and Europe. The course will seek to supplement classroom work by presenting the familiar from an unusual angle and by illumining some aspects of the work not generally treated in full detail. The relation between historical development and geographical circumstance will be emphasised, but no attempt will be made to achieve an exhaustive regional study. It is hoped, however, that pupils' knowledge of their country will be enriched by an examination of typical and of unique areas.
