Impressions of Aviation in Scotland
Arranged in co-operation with The
Scottish Flying Club Ltd.
Interviews by JACK HOUSE
Relayed from Renfrew Aerodrome
This programme is intended to give listeners some idea of flying activities in Scotland. Listeners will hear aeroplanes taking off and landing, and there will be interviews with pilots, both members of the Scottish Flying Club and those engaged in the regular passenger service. It is also hoped to include an interview with the pilot of the Hebrides hospital aeroplane and the chief instructor giving final advice to a young pilot before doing his first solo flight, and—more interesting still-this pilot may be persuaded to come to the microphone to say what it feels like to have ' grown wings.'
