JOHN CAMERON
Answered by ALAN MURRAY
(From Edinburgh)
No musical topic has ever been more hotly debated than that of jazz. There are few people who regard it with indifference ; the majority of us either hate it or like it. Every now and then we hear that it is about to die a natural death, but these reports seem only to give it increased vitality. John Cameron , who would give a good deal to hear the last of it, is a brilliant speaker and may be expected to lead the attack in a masterly fashion. Jazz lovers need have no fear that Alan Murray will let them down.

Pipe-Major WILLIAM Ross
HEAN FINDLAY (violin)
(From Edinburgh)
Our listeners will now be aware that every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday they may listen to Scottish dance music. The increase of Scottish dance music in our programmes will not be at the expense of lovers of jazz ; the latter will find something very much to their taste in the National Programme. Pipe-
Major Ross is instructor in the school of Army pipers in Edinburgh Castle, and for four successive years held the title of champion piper of Scotland.
