MR. JOHN JAMES MILLAR , who is at present Agricultural Editor of the Daily Record and an expert on the Associated Scottish Newspapers' staff, for the last twenty years has been accepted as one of the greatest authorities on Highland Gatherings. He is an all-round athlete, and competed successfully in heavy events at all the leading Gatherings in Scotland for 15 years. Mr. Millar has also organised many Gatherings, including the London Highland Gathering (Stamford Bridge), and the Harry Lauder Pageant in connection with the Highland Gathering, Isle of Man, in 1932.
