R. M. Brench 
Alum Pot , on the slopes of Ingleborough, is considered by many to be the most spectacular pot-hole in the British Isles. R. M. Brench is a well-known Leeds pot-holer, and in his description of a descent of Alum Pot he will give listeners some idea of the methods used by potholers. 
Though Alum Pot has no chamber as big as Gaping Ghyll's largest 
(which is big enough to hold York Minster), many think it the most spectacular of all the limestone caverns of the Yorkshire Pennines. 
Young people in the West Riding towns have taken a great part in the exploration of these pot-holes in recent years. R. M. Brench 's talk this evening will probably add to the number of converts to speleology.
