Laurence Neal, who has had ten seasons with the Fortune Players of Leicester, will tell of the experience he has gained in a repertory of several plays, performed with a minimum of scenes in villages up and down the country.
These strolling players were in their second year when he joined them. He had to take over the part of Mephistopheles in Marlowe's Dr. Faustus in the early days. One of the favourite plays in the repertoire of the Fortune Players is A Winter's Tale, which they have given thirty times.
