P. Webster Cory has been farming in the Cotswolds for nearly twenty years. The unit system requires a good organising ability in the farmer and some degree of specialisation among his staff. The various sections of farm production-poultry, sheep, and so on-are put in charge of a section of workers, and when it shows a profit a percentage is paid to them. 
Mr. Webster Cory had a training in a London accountant's office when he left Oxford and before he took up farming in Gloucestershire. He has farmed from 340 to 1,000 acres at Notgrove.
