This broadcast will give the complete opera as performed on the stage of the Prince of Wades Theatre, Birmingham. Two of the cast, John Torney , who plays the part of Pinkerton, and George Hancock , who is Yamadori, sang in ' Puccini, the Man and his Music ', presented on Monday (Regional) and Tuesday (National). Puccini enthusiasts all over the country, therefore, will have an excellent week, for Act I of La Bohème is also being broadcast this evening.
