For sixty years the Shakespeare sermon, on the Sunday nearest to April 23, has been a regular part of the birthday celebrations. Included in this special service is the Shakespeare hymn written by A. C. Benson to a tune composed by W. Wells Hewitt , formerly organist of Stratford Parish Church and now organist of Toronto Cathedral.
