This band is one of three in the Northamptonshire boot manufacturing town of Rushden, which has broadcast in the Midland programme. It was founded in 1898 for open-air Evangelistic work. It has entered competitions only during the last four years. The trophies it has gained include the county championship of Northampton and the Oxfordshire Reid Trophy (twice). The members are all members of or are attached to the Rushden Wesleyan Reform Mission Church
