Organist, BERNARD JOHNSON 
Bernard Johnson recently announced that next June he intends to retire from the position of organist at the Albert Hall , which he will then have occupied for twenty-five years. He was the first provincial musician to be elected President of the Incorporated Society of Musicians. For many years he has been Director of Music to University College, Nottingham. A number of his organ recitals have been broadcast. A recital of some of his songs was given in Nottinghamshire Week.
