Clifford Roberts was born in the Black Country, and got his musical training in Birmingham, under Dr. (now Sir) Granville Bantock and the late C. W. Perkins , who was City Organist. For the last six years, Mr. Roberts has been Organist and Choirmaster at St. John's Church, Hove. His compositions include—besides works for the organ—cantatas and a choral fantasia, ' 'Mirabilia', which was first sung by the Wolverhampton Musical Society.
